One of the most popular herbs from the garden. Sweet Basil has aromatic leaves, which are used fresh or dried to liven up numerous culinary dishes. The clove-like aroma and flavor provide wonderful seasoning in tomato dishes, soups, sauces, poultry, fish and herb butter.
Drying Tip: Leaves can be preserved by hanging the foliage upside down in small bunches and air-drying in a warm, dry, well-ventilated room for a week or so.
